Do you feel tense, stiff and lack mobility in your hips and upper legs (hamstrings, inner thighs, quads, outer hip, hip flexors)? This workshop begins with an introduction to fascia and functional anatomy of the circumference of the hips and upper legs. The myofascial release techniques you will learn can be a very helpful adjunct to a yoga practice to help with range of motion, injuries, scar tissue, tension, muscle recovery (for athletes) or muscle function.

In this LAB, we will explore the muscles of the core and glutes to LEARN about them, WORK them and FLOW with them to gain wisdom about how to mindfully USE, STRENGTHEN and STRETCH these muscles in all the yoga classes you take helping to build the foundations for a stronger, supported practice.
