Some evenings ask you to do less, not more. This is one of them.
The Sound of Rest is ninety minutes of deep, supported stillness: long-held restorative postures, warm props, and space to let your body finally exhale. Woven through it all is live percussion from William Hafer, not to drive the practice but to hold it. Chimes, shakers, log drum, and subtle rhythm move in conversation with your breath. Soft and spacious as you settle, gentle and grounding through the longest holds, dissolving into near-silence as you sink toward final rest.
This isn’t a sound bath, and it isn’t a workout. It’s an invitation to be held: by the room, by the sound, by the permission to stop. You’ll leave lighter than you came.
No experience needed; everyone is welcome. Come as you are.
