SPRING EQUINOX YOGA NIDRA

Spring is a time of rebirth and growth in which nature rouses from its slumber and the landscape is once again filled with the brilliance of life. Within us also lies a spectacular brilliance but sometimes it is masked by feeling tired, rundown and stressed. Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice that uses guided relaxation cues to create a space in which these stressors can diminish and we can notice the beauty of our own inner landscape, to honor the presence of peace and stillness within all while restoring the body, mind and senses.

During Yoga Nidra, the body is guided to completely relax in order to enjoy a state of alert awareness. At the end of the practice, participants have reported significantly reduced stress levels, a feeling of peace and calm and studies have shown that 1 hour of Yoga Nidra practice can be as restful and restorative as 4 hours of sleep.
