Sunday June 18 | 7:00-8:00pm
Summer is when the vitality of life is most fully charged as longer sun-filled days usher in energy-filled experiences that elevate us physically, mentally and emotionally. To help balance this extra charge of energy, Yoga Nidra can be used to help steady our awareness in the present moment and ease the body, mind and senses. Using verbal cues and breath, I will guide you to soften the muscles of your body and soften into a reprieve from the chatter of your thoughts in order to enjoy a refreshed sense of being, a fortified connection with yourself and the peace + joy that reside within.
This practice will begin with simple stretches, movement and breathing before we ease into Yoga Nidra which will be experienced resting in Savasana. No yoga experience is required and all you’ll need is your mat, your comfiest yoga attire as well as blankets, pillows, an eye cover, and cozy socks to make yourself as comfortable as possible. Namaste, yogis.

Gather with a community of plant lovers as we exchange our favorite plants and cuttings. You can bring one or more plants but please make sure they are free of pest, root rot or anything that can make their transition to their new home unmanageable. If you are bringing cuttings we ask that you store them properly in a paper towel and plastic bag or in a glass jar if able. Baby plants are definitely welcomed and encouraged!
Each plant you bring should have the name attached to it with a nice little note of your choice, something special people can cherish along with their new plant.
We will have a 45-minute yoga session before our plant swap, guided by Imani Smith, a plant mama to over 30 cactus and succulents. Come dressed comfortable and ready to plant some seeds!
Let’s have fun, talk about plants and watch our eyes turn green.

Experience the healing power of a moving meditation combined with soothing sound. You will be guided through a gentle yoga practice while soaking up the relaxing rhythms of live handpan music by David Greening. The handpan is a large steel instrument that was first created in Switzerland drawn from the inspiration of the Jamaican steel drum. Today they are made all over the world and their transcendent vibrations provide a powerfully peaceful atmosphere. This practice is an opportunity to facilitate deep healing simply by moving, breathing, and allowing yourself to be immersed in sound and sensation.
We will have snacks and recommend taking the 11am vinyasa before Yoga Club! We gather every third Sunday.

Reiki comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). Reiki is a type of energy healing that targets the energy field around the body that can become stagnant where there has been physical injury and/or emotional pain. All of our energy systems are linked, the mind, body and soul; each of these systems are connected and can have an effect on each other. It follows then that if a cleansing, healing energy flows through the body, the spiritual body and the mind will also benefit. This is how Reiki works; flowing through the body, cleansing, healing and detoxifying the system on many levels and therefore healing the mind, body and emotions. Want to learn more about Reiki and how to use it on yourself and others? Join us for Level I, Level II or complete Level III to become a Reiki Master! In addition to level appropriate attunements, training manuals and 10hrs of yoga Alliance CE for each model.
