The practice of journaling offers pathways to journey through our own thoughts, emotions, energy and experiences. It helps us connect more deeply with ourselves and to explore our own inner landscape. Journaling also gives us a chance to build community and discover ways that we are intricately and beautifully connected to one another. In this workshop series, we will use breath, meditation, journaling and conversation to inspire + ignite these connections and cultivate a ritual that lives and breathes beyond our time together.

In Sanskrit MAN is the heart and TRA is expansion. Learn the brief history of this mantra and pronunciation, then collectively we will chant 108 rounds of the Medicine Buddha Mantra. This mantra invokes space for deep healing, with the ability to reach far beyond our own physical body. All are welcome to join this guided and collaborative heart expanding evening to uplift the energy within ourselves and out into the world.

Yoga Nidra

The New Year abounds with opportunities for reflection, restoration and inspiration. And whether you set intentions for the new year or not, this Yoga Nidra will offer a chance to explore what you would most like to uplift in your life. During this workshop, you will get a chance to cultivate a personal intention to serve as a guide throughout this practice + beyond and to breathe life into your intention by connecting with the peace, joy and love that reside within you.

If you are new to Yoga Nidra, it is an ancient practice that uses guided relaxation cues to help us make space in our lives to dwell in the beauty of the present moment and restore the body, mind and senses. During this practice, you will be guided to completely relax physically and to pause the sometimes racing thoughts of your mind in order to enjoy a state of alert awareness . The practice will begin with simple journaling, movement and breath. Then we will work into Yoga Nidra which is done lying in Savasana. At the end of the practice, participants have reported significantly reduced stress levels as well as a feeling of peace and calm.

No yoga experience is required and all you’ll need is your mat, your comfiest yoga attire as well as blankets, pillows and cozy socks to make yourself as comfortable as possible. Oh and, have your journal or some paper with something to write with nearby. Looking forward to sharing this practice with you.

Need a little encouragement to (re)kindle your connection within? To recall + stimulate the magnificence that radiates from inside your confident being? The word ‘confidence' comes from the roots con which means ``with`` and fidence which mean ``trust`` or ``faith.” In essence, confidence means with trust. Join Naomi + Sitara for this weeklong, virtual series. We'll dive into our inner spaciousness and use our yoga practice like an elixir to dust away the cobwebs + blocks that tell us we are anything less than brilliant and to remind ourselves what it feels like to move from internal trust. To reconnect with our innate wisdom and remember that when we move from that space within, the world around us becomes illuminated and allows us to see clearly our path forward.
