ODYSSEYS

Every Monday | 8:15 PM - 9:00 PM

An Odyssey is an intellectual or spiritual quest that one may journey through on their own or in community with others. When we thought about this class and what to name it, Odysseys described it heart and soul. Each week, we will explore breath work, meditation, tiny bursts of creativity, journaling + fellowship. There will be space to be with your own experience, as well as to share with others, in a safe + supportive community. Each week is a new experience, so feel free to drop in any time. Recently a student shared, “ This class is a beautiful way to connect to yourself and with others in all the complexities of being human.” No journaling or yoga experience is required so brew yourself a cup of tea, grab your mat, a few cushions and something to write with and on. I look forward to sharing Odysseys with you.

FINDING EASE: LEARN TO REST, NOT TO GIVE UP

What if you could live in your body in a different way? What if you could feel energized and at ease? This past year has been a lot. We have had to adapt and be resilient for so long, on so many levels. It's not surprising that many of us feel exhausted, overwhelmed and stressed. Throughout this class we will explore a gentle yoga flow and restorative postures to renew and restore our energy, find balance and rekindle ease within.

Props needed (but not required):
2 blocks
2 blankets or beach towels
1 bolster or pillow

SPRING EQUINOX Yoga Nidra

Sunday March 21st, 2021 | 11:30 am to 12:45 pm | $20 Livestream | $30 In Studio

Spring is a time of rebirth and growth in which nature rouses from its slumber and the landscape is once again filled with the brilliance of life. Within us also lies a spectacular brilliance but sometimes it is masked by feeling tired, rundown and stressed. Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice that uses guided relaxation cues to create a space in which these stressors can diminish and we can notice the beauty of our own inner landscape, to honor the presence of peace and stillness within all while restoring the body, mind and senses.
This practice will begin with simple stretches, movement and breathing before we ease into Yoga Nidra which will be experienced resting in Savasana. During Yoga Nidra, the body will be guided to completely relax and racing thoughts to pause in order to enjoy a state of alert awareness. At the end of the practice, participants have reported significantly reduced stress levels and an overall feeling of peace and calm.

No yoga experience is required and all you’ll need is your mat, your comfiest yoga attire as well as any props you would like to bring with you to the studio- for example, a blanket, pillow, eye cover, and cozy socks to make yourself as comfortable as possible. Looking forward to sharing this practice with you. This will be held IN-STUDIO & LIVE STREAM.

When we set “resolutions” we often aren’t aligning with our highest, elevated selves but our ego or what society tells us we should aspire for. We’re asking to heal surface level issues whether that’s our fitness, career or relationship. In this New Years Day workshop with Naomi, we will embark on a journey of Asana, Pranayama, Meditation and Sweet Mantra to invoke a heart centered consciousness so we are open to receive love, true prosperity and abundance at the soul level. Join us to make 2021 your deepest experience of life and happiness. This class takes place livestream.

Props can help us explore poses in a new, creative way. Join Erin for the master of all props, the wall, for a fun In Studio Wall Yoga workshop! This workshop will be an all levels journey into a variety of poses that can be deepened at the wall! We will start with exploration of standing poses, work our way through some balancing poses, and finish with some juicy yin poses! You will laugh, learn, and leave with a fresh way to approach some of the classic yoga poses!!

Need a little encouragement to (re)kindle your connection within? To recall + stimulate the magnificence that radiates from inside your confident being? The word ‘confidence' comes from the roots con which means ``with`` and fidence which mean ``trust`` or ``faith.” In essence, confidence means with trust. Join Naomi + Sitara for this weeklong, virtual series. We'll dive into our inner spaciousness and use our yoga practice like an elixir to dust away the cobwebs + blocks that tell us we are anything less than brilliant and to remind ourselves what it feels like to move from internal trust. To reconnect with our innate wisdom and remember that when we move from that space within, the world around us becomes illuminated and allows us to see clearly our path forward. We don’t apply yoga to our life but rather our yoga reminds us how inextricably connected we all are. What you can expect: powerfully rooted asana, pranayama + journal prompts. Our hope is that by pouring loving attention and awareness into our practice, we feel and begin to trust the infinite potential of life.
